Subhash Ghai’s ‘Black & White’ had been invited for the Carlsberg International Film festival that was held in Nagpur from the 11th to the 18th of September 09 while Subhash Ghai was invited to inaugurate the festival.   The film was featured along with La Dolce Vita, Turtles can fly, Spring Summer, Edge of Heaven and a Marathi film Gabriche Pause. 

Black & White has emerged as show stealer and has garnered critical acclaim from media as well as general Public. In the first week of its release it was granted tax exemption in Delhi followed by the state of Maharashtra. This small budget patriotic drama is still growing at the box office too on the strength of its appreciation by word of mouth. 

Black & White is a story of a terrorist and his journey to accomplish his only mission in life. A journey that lasts for 15 days in the heart of Old Delhi, a journey that changes his life.  

The film was released worldwide on 7th of March 08 under the Mukta Searchlight banner and got rave reviews from across the world.
