Subhash Ghai And Rituparno Ghosh’s Film 'Nauka Dubi' At The 55th Bfi London Film Festival

'NAUKA DUBI' based on a story by Rabindranath Tagore, directed by  Rituparno Ghosh, and produced by SUBHASH GHAI was screened to a packed international audience at the prestigious VUE theatre in Leister square. ‘Film on the Square’ is a reference to films being screened at the prestigious Leister Square in Central London, the main venue of the festival. Ravi Gupta, representing Mukta Arts Limited, introduced the film as Mukta Arts’ homage to Rabindranath Tagore on the occasion of his 150th birth anniversary with a Q&A session that followed the screening. Cary Sawhney, Programming Head for the South Asian films, congratulated Subhash Ghai in venturing into meaningful cinema and praised the high production values and outstanding performances. Post a long standing ovation to the film, the audience commended the film, its actors and the director. Subhash Ghai dubbed ‘Nauka Dubi’ in Hindi language too (titled ‘Kashmakash’), and released it all over with remarkable success!
