Madam Sonia, who owns one of the biggest casinos in China Town, is
distraught when her young son suddenly goes missing. She offers a
huge reward with the intention of getting her son back. Raj and Priya,
two strangers struggling to make a living in a new city, find the child
and decide to return him and share the reward. When they finally
reach Madam’s place late at night, they find her dead. In panic, they
run from the palace, but leave their suitcase and footprints behind.
Inspector Karan is given charge of the case… It appears to be a simple
case, but with each step forward, matters get even more complicated.
He ends up with seven suspects, each with a different motive. And
then, what he finds out is a mystery behind another mystery.

The film's concept came to directors Abbas-Mustan while watching the detective thriller Chinatown (1974). This film is thus partly based on and partly a tribute to that film.
Upen Patel 's voice is dubbed in this film.
