Bollywood is full of numerous stories of how actors and actresses have held their producers and directors to ransom to fulfill their demands before shooting. These demands have ranged from the ridiculous to the serious.  But none could have been sweeter and tastier than the one made by veteran actor Habib Tanvir during the shooting of Black & White.

The veteran theatre actor, who is playing a crucial role in Black & White one day made a strangely sweet demand from the unit. The veteran is believed to have made a demand for jalebis. This was not a demand for any old jalebis but jalebis specially made at Dariba, in the Chandni Chowk area.  The film’s story, as we known, is based in Delhi’s Chandni Chowk area. Needless to say, the entire unit waited till the special jalebis arrived. It was only after Tanvir, Anil Kapoor and the rest of the unit hogged on the jalebis that shooting could resume.  Definitely one of the sweeter experiences during the film’s shooting.!
