Following the success of the hit Marathi film Vaalu and the multiple debacles that his production house has suffered in recent times with Hindi movies produced by them, Subhash Ghai’s film company, Mukta Arts is planning to start five Marathi films soon. This is in order that their company be called a successful production house. 
Their presentation of the film Kande Pohe that is being produced by one of their finds, Shreyas Talpade, is also complete and ready for release. Ghai is funding the entire film and is depending on Shreyas’ knowledge of Marathi cinema to help further their film production business. In the meantime, Ghai is waiting anxiously to complete his big budget flick, Yuvraaj starring Salman Khan, Zayed Khan and Katrina Kaif.
