Mukta Arts second Marathi film Kaande Pohe’s name has been changed to Sanai Chaughade. The turn of event occurred because of some internal issues the producers were facing. So now they have unanimously decided to go ahead with the new title Sanai Chaughade. The film is slated to release in mid-June this year. Shreyas Talpade, he producer, says, “Initially, when we were brainstorming, we had Sanai Chaughade in our minds as a title for film. But as the term Kaande Pohe cornes across many times in our film, we decided to go ahead with it.” He adds, “However, we learnt that it had been already registered by someone else as a play and that person was not to keen to allow us to use the title. That’s when we decided that our film is far more important to us than the title alone.” Sanai Chaughade is directed by Rajeev Patil, with screenplay and dialogues by Sanjay Pawar.
