On 9th June, Mr. Subhash Ghai signed an agreement on behalf of Mukta Arts with the Provincial Government of Valencia to set up Whistling Woods International for the Asian and European students at the Alicante Film City. The Alicante Film City is considered as one of the best Film Cities in the World with regards to its infrastructure and technology.
Mr. Subhash Ghai, Chairman, Mukta Arts Ltd and Minister of Culture Mayor of Valencia, Mr. Jose Luis Villaneuva signed the agreement in the presence of media. Whistling Woods International would provide expertise, knowledge and training programs and the Film City would extend their infrastructure, technology and facilities to all International students in Alicante.
Speaking from Spain, Mr. Ghai said, "I am glad that after they could see the success story of Whistling Woods in Mumbai, Minister of Culture, Spain, invited us to set up a Whistling Woods here to provide world class filmmaking programs. I am proud to see that Whistling Woods has entered in Europe now and this is our major mile stone as well as the part of our expansion plans of Mukta Arts in setting up the institute in various countries and Indian states to educate and develop software for International and local market. This will also expose our Indian and Asian students to the world cinema and they will get a chance to educate themselves in a much lower cost than Institute in other countries.
