There are good possibilities ahead of setting up a Film city in Jaipur soon, as noted filmmaker subhash Ghai during his recent meeting with Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, strongly recommended it. Ghai has planned setting up a branch of Whistling Woods International there. Now, if the government provides the needed infrastructure, the dream may be realised soon.
It may be recalled that for the first time, a highlevel delegation under the leadership of Bina Kak, the then minister of Art, Culture and Tourism, had visited Mumbai in this connection to meet the bigwigs of Bollywood.
Ghai added, "with co-operation from the Government of Maharashtra, I am running Whistling Woods International film Institute since 2006. With co-operation from Rajasthan Government, I am Keen to set up a branch in Jaipur too,"
