Mumbai, 22nd August 07: Mukta Arts will be entering the Marathi Film genre by presenting their first film ‘KAANDE POHE’ which is being produced by actor Shreyas Talpade under their new banner MALPIX FILMS. The film directed by Rajeev Patil will have Tushaar Dalvi, Shilpa Tulaskar, Subodh Bhave and Sai Tamhankar. The music for the film will be given Avdhoot Gupte, background music by Avinash-Vishwajeet, the story has been written by Rajiv Patil, Vivek Gore, Rajesh Kolan, while the screenplay and dialogues has been written by Sanjay Pawar. The film was launched at the Cricket Club of India with the honourable Minister of Culture Ashok Chavan as Chief Guest and attended by Subhash Ghai, CMD, Mukta Arts, Shreyas Talpade and the cast of the film.

Kaande Pohe will be made under Malpix Films banner and will be released in December 07. Malpix Films is a new banner which will cater to regional genre films.
