Mukta Arts’ ‘VALU’ celebrates Silver Jubilee at the Box Office

Mumbai, July 14th 2008: Mukta Art’s proud venture ‘VALU’ starring ensemble cast of Atul Kulkarni, Dr. Mohan Agashe, Dilip Prabhavalkar, Bharati Acharekar, Girish Kulkarni, Nirmitee Sawant and others has successfully completed 25 weeks at the box office. The film is still enjoying massive crowd all over Maharashtra.

‘Valu’ has been a success story all around the world; the film has been screened at Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, Pennsylvania’s Silk Screen Film Festival and warmly accepted at the Rotterdam Film Festival this year.

‘Valu’ is directed by Umesh Vinayak Kulkarni and was bought over by Mukta Arts for distribution across India. This was Mukta Arts’ reaffirmation of its commitment to Marathi cinema.
