Subhash Ghai Shares Praise for Saiyaara

“When a new star cast film creates a wave at the box office, it sends a clear message to investors and producers,” Subhash Ghai wrote.

He clearly said that whenever a new star cast film does well at the box office, automatically it sends a clear message to the investors and producers about what will work and what will not.

Advice from Subhash Ghai to Filmmakers

Further he advised what the producers and investors do. He said, “not to make an over budget film more than a good story needs, not to invest on main actors more than your production cost – no money spend on stars whims, no extra spend on marketing stunts. Audience is surely ready to accept a good heart warming film with right casting, all over India (sic)”

He emphasized that spending excessively on stars or marketing gimmicks does not guarantee success. Instead, he believes that well-written, well-directed, and reasonably budgeted films can perform exceptionally well when made with sincerity and clarity.
