Amid Mumbai drug bust, Subhash Ghai shares old pic of Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan at anti-drugs drive | | 6th October, 2021

As NCB continues to investigate the Mumbai cruise ship drug case, Subhash Ghai took to social media to share an old photo of Bollywood actors promoting anti-drugs drive.

Filmmaker Subhash Ghai on Wednesday took to Koo app to share an old photo of popular actors from an anti-drugs drive held during the '90s. The throwback photo features a number of celebrities, including Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Gulshan Grover, Jackie Shroff, Padmini Kolhapure, Shabana Azmi, Mithun Chakraborty and Dimple Kapadia. Sharing the photo, he wrote, "#SayNoToDrugs. In 1990, our media witnessed several film stars protesting against drugs in one voice with Gulshan Jitender, Vinod Khanna, Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Mithun Da, Jackie, Dimple, Shabana, Tina Khanna, Padmini Kolhapure and VIPs, at event organised by Subhash Ghai - highly appreciated. We all still protest against 'Drugs - the Evil'. May God save our children from this monstrous evil."

Ghai's post comes after the NCB conducted multiple raids in connection with the seizure of banned drugs from a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast last week.
